Choose Peace

One of our greatest gifts is our ability to choose. It is a privilege, a freedom, a right. We grew up with a set of foundations that has allowed us to make decisions for ourselves, for our loved ones when need be. 

With this gift comes responsibility. The choices we make are governed by consequences that derive from our actions. 

In a world filled with fear, peril and destruction, I only ask that we take pause and honor our gift of choice so not to hurt others. Once your choice hurts another, the choice is no longer a privilege, it is violation of another freedom to choose.

"Saddened by what is occurring in Ukraine, I figured this was a perfect time to add this canvas to my “Choose” collection. A portion of the proceeds from this canvas will go toward the Sunflower of Peace Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to helping Ukrainians affected by the Russian military invasion.
My consideration when painting this canvas:
🎨The colors chosen are light…soft…peaceful
🇺🇦Blue symbolizes “peace,” and I wanted to add yellow for the Ukrainian flag
✌️The “v’s” in the background behind the wording are characteristic of doves or the “peace” sign made with fingers"
